Back in May, I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer, an aggressive form of the disease which always requires chemotherapy. I was shocked, to say the least, because about 10 years ago, I was battling another form of cancer. I was proud to call myself a survivor. Well here I am again, that fucking c-word put its claws into my body once more. But I’m a fucking warrior. I’ll fight it like I did before. The I’m Not a Survivor I’m a Fucking Warrior Breast Cancer shirt step was a partial mastectomy. Next step - beginning July 25, 8 rounds of dose dense chemo, each round to be given every other week. Yes, I know I’ll be sick. I’ll lose my hair. I’ll be weak ill be tired there’s a big chance that I won’t even be able to handle 8 rounds because of my previous history of having radiation and chemo (which affects bone marrow). And after chemo will come another 7 weeks of radiation treatment.
