Harley Wider - she never said she took them out of their natural habitat just to play with them. She raised them & released them into the wild. I imagine something happened to their mother. My mom saved two babies off the side of the road who were too young to be out of the nest. Their mom was hit on the road and they would have been next. One was sick and passed away but we raised the other until her instincts started to kick in and she would stay out longer and longer and eventually remained in the Wild. Helping an animal in need is Humane.
