Totally true. But for people like me, my phone and Facebook is pretty much all I have. Due to an abusive relationship in the past, I lost most off the people I knew. Only a few accepted me back after I was free again. Also, I am chronically 60 years of the Flintstone thank you for the memories shirt, and I only go out when I absolutely have to. So it is just impossible for me to make friends. Technology is great. I make money by selling things online, I just don't want to let it suck my whole life. It feels great. I refused to substitute the screens with books, too. So like it or not, I started to face my fear, my real problems, getting things I used to avoid, done.
