I use algebra every freaking day at work...and biology, natural sciences, and chemistry...being creative and thinking outside the box is also a daily task at work too. I went to school and worked hard for my bachelor's in environmental science degree...conventional learning isn't without its flaws for sure but, I'm glad I went through it and I was successful.
