I probably heard it when I was younger but it came back to me when a Swedish singer Miryam Bryant did an awesome Swedish version of it.. though like the British original Marvel Avengers Endgame Cute Fat Thor Shirt. My Dad would sing this to me! His Mom was from Ireland ‘& had passed away when he was 10 yrs old. She had a beautiful mezzo-soprano voice I’ve been told. I don’t know why but I started crying hearing this....the melody and the words are so touching and haunting.
